"Who are you? Why should I trust you?" Edward frowned and wished ferverently to wake up from this whole nightmare.

"Because I am the blackbird." The voice replied and Edward stepped back towards the alley's mouth, towards the neon lights that punctured the darkness, back to where Riku was waiting. The voice chuckled at his movements. "you cannot escape me, Keybearer. You cannot ignore my call."

"I'm going to try." Edward hissed angrilly. "You can damn well bet on that."

"I am the blackbird, I have the power to take you to your world. To your brother."

"Alphonse?" Edward whispered, but the voice said no more.
